This is a photo of Coach Dennis Grizzle's first football team at Pettus High School.  In his nine years at Pettus High School, Coach Grizzle led the Eagles to 4 district championships in football, 6 district championships in basketball, and 5 district championships in track, as well as to the Regional Championship in football in 1951 and to the State Basketball Tournament in 1953 and 1954.
